For over 32 years, Alan Beck has published, designed and printed Maps for the LGBTQ+ community. Awarded for contributions to travel and LGBTQ awareness in Canada, The United States, Central and South America. Alan continues the initiative, started with FunMaps®, evolving into an international travel authority with Fun Travel Guides®.
Alan is a recognised Human Rights Pioneer, he has openly championed human rights, such as : rights for the LGBTQ+ community, for many years. In May 2024, Alan received a Trail Blazer Award for pioneering FunMaps® and Fun Travel Guides®.
In the last 5 years, Alan published Fun Travel Guides®, digitally for over 33 destinations. From printed guides to digital, with mobile friendly web maps, and now, easy to use mobile app, allowing users access all 33 destinations in the palm of their hand. Printed maps / guides can be found at your favorite attractions, bars, hotels, and welcome centers.
