Discover the great whales of the North Atlantic that departs only in July and August, during a three hour Provincetown Whale Watching adventure. Marine mammal sightings include: Humpback, Finback, Minke, Right and Pilot Whales. These majestic creatures can be up to 70 feet long and weigh 65 tons.

The great Outer Beach described by Thoreau in the 1800s is protected within the national seashore. Forty miles of pristine sandy beach, marshes, ponds, and uplands support diverse species. Lighthouses, cultural landscapes, and wild cranberry bogs offer a glimpse of Cape Cod's past and continuing ways of life. Swimming beaches and walking and biking trails beckon today's visitors.

The Pilgrim Monument was founded in 1892 as the Cape Cod Pilgrim Memorial Association "Cape Cods oldest not-for-profit organization. Its purpose is to commemorate the Mayflower Pilgrims" first landing in the New World in Provincetown, in November 1620. Here the Pilgrims spent 5 weeks exploring the tip of Cape Cod, before they sailed on to Plymouth. They also drew up and signed the Mayflower Compact, which established the rule of law for the new land.

CLUB PURGATORY at Grifford HouseThe Gifford House Inn celebrates a history of over 155 years in Provincetown. The original hotel was the last stop for the stagecoach as early as 1858. For years it served the arrival of three trains a day, and has always been a refuge for the passengers of the many ships that lay in Provincetown Harbor.

Brass Key Guesthouse’s bar serves martinis & wine in cozy, parlor like digs with a fireplace & patio.

Great outside area with a bar and overall a vibrant scene.  It is not located on the main “drag” but it is worth the walk over.  After a few you may just find that classy sailor rather than a regret.

This place has made really impactful upgrades in the last year. New menu is delightful the Carrot Hummus is to die for! Exceptional service from every staff member we interacted with. While we were there there was a show about to start. If you want to be in a place with vibrant energy, this is the place to go!

If you are into an upscale bar with lighting that makes everyone a little prettier this is it.  With upscale you get NYC pricing but you also get larger concoctions that take longer to drain.  It really is your preference and probably comes out about even price-wise.  The bar has a friendly vibe and it’s fun to try to guess where the groups of queens come from.  The Manhattanites always let you know they are special.  And so is this bar.

On a summer's night, the Crown & Anchor can't be missed. In fact, it can't be ignored. Not only is it one of P-town's most prominent facades, with its grand columned portico and tower, but performers from the Cabaret'usually in drag'boisterously regale passers-by. The hotel business is a sideline; this is the town's "largest entertainment complex," true to its roots in the mid-19th century, when Timothy P. Johnson built the Central House (its first name) as a public hall for shows and entertainment, a bowling alley and'quite as important'a saloon.

Twenty Summers was founded with the dual aim of preserving the Hawthorne Barn in Provincetown, Mass., and maintaining its legacy as a place promoting the private creation of and public engagement with art.

The Provincetown Art Association and Museum is a nationally recognized, year-round cultural institution that fuses the creative energy of Americas oldest active art colony with the natural beauty of outer Cape Cod that has inspired artists for generations.

The Provincetown Public Library is located in the building that was once the Center Methodist Episcopal Church. This structure, like many in Provincetown, has had a long and varied history of use. When it was built in 1860 as the Center Methodist Episcopal Church it was reputed to be the largest church of Methodist denomination anywhere in the United States. It cost $22,000 to complete and could seat 900 people in its 128 pews.

Down a courtyard behind a building'a mews! Thats where our original location was and how it got its name back in 1964 when originators Nicky & Ray Wells started the restaurant. Ray was preparing the area for the business and found a bridle. After some research she discovered that the space was a stable where horses would cart oysters from the bay to Commercial Street. In 1993 we moved to our current location taking with us several antique articles including wood carvings from 1892. 

Proprietor Richard Treat keeps the product assortment fresh by pairing well-known brands with emerging designers. Favorites such as Ted Baker, Andrew Christian, Diesel, Robert Graham and Ben Sherman can be found next to recent discoveries Andersons, Bruun&Stengade, Sebastien James, Kapok, Parlour, Pure, Salence, and more. The BodyBody team also created the exclusive lines postmarc and ST33LE.

Cabot's Candy got its start in 1927, hand-pulling saltwater taffy in small, local fairs. The popularity of this delectable seashore treat led to the opening of a beautiful little store and factory, where we still operate today in Provincetown, MA.
