In 2015, we launched The Hotel because our friends told us ""it's a pain in the ass to visit Fire Island."" We really like having our friends around. We also love seeing a new generation of gays discover this magical place. So we set out to fix some stuff that was broken. 

Over the last 10 years our spunky little hotel has thrived and helped thousands of people find a place to stay, travel from the city and party in Fire Island. 

Whether you're visiting Fire Island Pines or Cherry Grove, The Belvedere Guest House is only a few minutes walk from the center of both communities. Belvedere is the only All Gay clothing optional resort on the island. Located on the bay, just 500 feet from the beach, we offer the best sunsets in Cherry Grove from our rooftop terrace and bay front deck. 

Since 1968 - Dune Point is the only ocean front guest house in Cherry Grove, Fire island , a paradise beach community without roads or vehicles. This quaint town is connected only by wooden walks , giving it a serene magical feel like no other place you have ever experienced.

The first lighthouse built on Fire Island was completed in 1826. It was a 74-foot high, cream colored, octagonal pyramid made of Connecticut River blue split stone. The tower was built at the end of the island, adjacent to the inlet. This tower was not effective due to its lack of height. It was almost entirely removed and the stone reused to build the terrace for the present lighthouse.

The Blue Whale is home to multiple regular events, including Low Tea, Yacht Club Dining (Dinner, 6 days a week + Weekend Brunch), and Weekend Evening Piano Bar and Cabaret Special Events.

The Ice Palace Nightclub has been a Fire Island staple since the mid-50?s. They come here to dance, to people watch, to play pool, or hang out on the outdoor deck (it's the pool deck of the Grove Hotel). The largest dance floor on Fire Island that fills up most weekends and weekdays nights you'll find a great mix of gay men and lesbians here too.

The Cherry Grove Archives Collection promotes global appreciation of the rich and creative history of the earliest known haven for LGBTQ people and their allies in the United States. The CGAC is dedicated to the preservation of the social, political and cultural history of Cherry Grove, Fire Island, New York. 

The Cherry Grove Theatre is the oldest continually operating gay summer theater in the United States. It was recognized by the National Park Service with a listing on the National Register of Historic Places on June 4, 2013.[1] It is one of only five sites listed because of its association with LGBT history. However, almost 400 other such sites have been identified as candidates.
